Ottawa City Council meets every first and third Wednesday of the month in Victoria Hall which is located on the First Level of the Bytown Pavilion at City Hall, 111 Sussex Drive. Meetings begin at 1:00 p.m.

Schedule of Council and Standing Committee meetings to December 2000

Ottawa City Council depends on four standing committees to assist in the decision making process.

All Committee meetings take place in Victoria Hall located on the First Level of the Bytown Pavilion at City Hall, 111 Sussex Drive. Meetings begin promptly at 9:15 a.m., unless otherwise stated.

Standing Committees

Planning and Economic Development Committee
Tuesdays the week before Council meets.

Community Services and Operations Committee
Wednesdays the week before Council meets.

Policy, Priorities and Budgeting Committee
Thursdays the week before Council meets.

Audit Committee
Meetings are planned as required.

Parking

Parking is available in the public parking garage located at City Hall and will be validated, upon request, for committee meetings.

Televised Council Meetings

City Council proceedings are broadcast 'live' in English on Rogers Community 22 and in French on Rogers Télé-communautaire 23.
