Terms Of Reference

To advise on matters referred to it.

To advise on effectiveness of policies and programs of the City directed to preservation of the quality of the natural environment.

To advise on the state of natural environment in Ottawa and environs.

To advise on private and Government programs affecting the natural environment.

To hold public hearings, solicit advice and undertake research.

To advise on other programs and measures re protection and enhancement of natural environment.

11 residents of the City of Ottawa
1 representative and 1 alternate from the federal government
