Taxi Advisory Committee
Terms Of Reference
To advise the Community Services and Operations Committee and City Council
on all aspects of the taxi industry.
To consider matters referred to it which will maintain or improve convenience,
sufficiency, safety and economy of taxi service.
To review, elicit information, provide comment and make recommendations
on requests for modifications to those aspects of the by-law which affect
the public.

Composition
Total Membership -8 - (Term is 3 years)
8 residents of the City of Ottawa
1 representative from the Disability Issues Advisory Committee (non-voting
member)
- (The advisory committee has the option to include a non-voting
member of Council)
- (Particular attention paid to disabled, civil servants,
taxi users, etc.
Note: individuals with vested interest in the taxi industry
are not eligible.
Meetings
Every first Monday of the month, at 5:30 p.m., in the Fuller Room, City
Hall. (If necessary, third Monday of the month).
