REPORT RECOMMENDATIONS
1. That City Council receive and
table the Draft 2009 Operating and Capital Budget Estimates, including the
recommended $35.2 million in options that would achieve the 4.9% property tax
increase directed by City Council, for subsequent
consideration by Council in Committee of the Whole to be held December 1 to 5, 2008, as required;
2. That the 2010 and 2011 budget forecasts,
which incorporate the high level budget directions provided by Council, be
received; and
3. That any Council decisions impacting the 2009
Operating and Capital Budgets that are approved subsequent to the November 4,
2008 Council meeting be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole at the same
time as the Draft 2009 Budget is deliberated.
