1. PROPOSED TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR AN ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT

D'ENFOUISSEMENT AU CENTRE ENVIRONNEMENTALE WEST CARLETON
That the Planning and Environment Committee recommend
Council endorse the comments contained in Document 1 as the City’s comments on
Waste Management of Canada Corporation’s Proposed Terms of Reference for an
Environmental Assessment of a New Landfill Footprint at the West Carleton
Environmental Centre, and direct staff to forward the approved comments to the
Ministry of the Environment and Waste Management of Canada Corporation.
Que le Comité de l’urbanisme et de
l’environnement recommande au Conseil municipal d’avaliser les commentaires
contenus dans la pièce jointe 1 en tant que commentaires de la Ville sur les
paramètres proposés pour une évaluation environnementale de la superficie d'un
nouveau site d'enfouissement au centre environnemental de West Carleton et
d’enjoindre le personnel de les faire parvenir au ministère de l’Environnement
et à Waste Management of Canada Corporation.
