Fourth Quarter – October – December 2008

The City is pleased to present the eleventh Quarterly Performance Report to Council. In 2004, the “It’s about Accountability “ report recommended the regular provision of performance information to the Mayor and Council in order to improve the accountability and transparency of City of Ottawa operations. This eleventh edition of the quarterly report builds toward the accomplishment of that recommendation.

The goal of the Quarterly Performance Report is to provide key measures for a cross-section of branches that deliver services to the public. It provides a range of relevant and timely performance information, including comparisons of performance results to relevant service standards or targets. The Quarterly Performance Report is produced following the end of each quarter.

The Quarterly Performance Report to Council is a work in progress. The report will therefore evolve over time as the City makes progress in the development of performance information, as well as responds to input from Council and changes to the City’s environment.
