  • The Sexual Health Centre opens 30 minutes prior to any walk-in clinic

We offer:

  • free counselling on healthy sexuality, including STIs (sexually transmitted infections) and contraception
  • free testing for STIs
  • free treatment for some STIs
  • confidential or anonymous HIV testing
  • rapid HIV testing (point of care) – by appointment only at the Sexual Health Centre
  • emergency contraception (ECP)
  • affordable contraception
  • pregnancy testing & options counselling
  • pap testing (for those who qualify)
  • hepatitis A & B immunization (for those who qualify)
  • free condoms and resource materials

Satellite clinics

Drop-in services available to anyone. Please note that these clinics are located within another medical clinic; please tell the receptionist that you are there for the Ottawa Public Health satellite clinic. All services offered at the main Sexual Health Centre are available at the Satellite Clinics, with the exception of anonymous HIV testing and Point of Care (rapid) HIV testing. (Confidential HIV testing is available at the Satellite Clinics.)

Youth Sexual Health Clinics

Did you know...
Chlamydia is known as the “silent infection” because about 70% of infected women and 50% of infected men have no symptoms. Chlamydia infections are associated with up to 65% of all pelvic inflammatory disease, 70% of all tubal infertilities, and 30% of all ectopic pregnancies. Chlamydia is easily treated and cured with antibiotics.
