Awards

The City of Ottawa offers several funding programs and awards in support of the visual, performing, media and literary arts. Artistic excellence in photography is recognized through the bi-annual Karsh Award, while the annual Ottawa Book Awards recognize local writing community and celebrates its accomplishments.

 The City presents annual youth (12 - 19 years of age) awards for outstanding visual artwork in the Young at Art program.
