Public art

Public art can be found as paintings, photographs and sculptures in Ottawa City Hall, other municipal buildings, open spaces, pedestrian corridors, roadways, and transit ways. Art in public places makes the city a canvas for everyone to enjoy.

The City of Ottawa develops, exhibits and manages works by local artists. The collection is acquired by purchase or commission and is displayed throughout our community.
