Hospital Link and Cumberland Transitway Westerly Planning Study

The City of Ottawa has initiated its pre-consultation / initial planning process for the upcoming Environmental Assessment (EA) Study for the proposed transit links that would connect the Southeast Transitway, the future Cumberland Transitway and Blair Station. This project is being undertaken to improve transit service to the Ottawa Health Sciences Centre and hospital lands; improve transit service from Ottawa’s east end to central Ottawa; and address existing and future development issues.

Please note that, effective as of August 2010, the study's title has changed from the "Hospital Link / Cumberland Transitway Connection Study" to "Hospital Link and Cumberland Transitway Westerly Planning Study". The change in the title was done to better describe the portion of the work which currently forms part of the future Cumberland Transitway and will be designed and constructed next, i.e. the westerly section.
