Richmond

The original Village of Richmond plan had been prepared by the former Township of Goulbourn. In 2008 the City began a project to review the existing plan and prepare a new plan that includes uses for the future development lands and the village as a whole. In undertaking this project the City ensured:

• Village residents were involved and had their say on the future development
• The provisions of the existing Village Plan have been respected

City Council approved the Village of Richmond Community Design Plan on July 14, 2010.
